Josh Whitman is the athletic director for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was appointed to the position in February 2016. Prior to taking on this role at Illinois, Whitman served as the athletic director for Washington University in St. Louis. He also has experience working as a lawyer and previously played in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers and Buffalo Bills. Whitman is known for his strategic leadership and commitment to the development of student-athletes.
